ABOUT US

SIA “Eco Baltia vide” is a part of the largest group of Baltic environment management and recycled materials processing companies “Eco Baltia grupa” which provides a full cycle of waste management from collection to processing. SIA “Eco Baltia vide” is one of the environment management companies of the group providing services of waste management, cleaning and road maintenance, sorting and trade of recycled materials, as well as processing of tires.

SIA “Eco Baltia vide” provides management of used tires across the whole territory of Latvia, including cooperation with tyre importers and manufacturer accountability systems.

The company is one of the founders and an active member of the Latvian Tire Management Association.

THE MOST ADVANCED TIRE PROCESSING FACTORY IN THE BALTICS

In 2019, the company launched the most advanced tire processing factory in the Baltics which is equipped with currently most advanced mechanic processing equipment of tires available at the market. The factory is located in Tukums and processes both the tires of cars and lorries, obtaining high quality recycled materials in the process: rubber granules and chips. Currently the factory works with the tire processing capacity of 6.5 thousand tonnes, and in future the capacity of 10,000 tonnes is envisaged. The company continuously invests in development of technological processes with a purpose to increase the production capacities systematically.

Showing due care for a sustainable environment and a more environment-friendly production process, technologies have been installed in the factory that reduce to the minimum and limit various potential risks, as well as ensure an energy effective and ecologically considerate production process.

The company ensures a full cycle of tire processing from collection to processing into recycled materials, ensuring further sale to a customer, taking into account the necessary quality, volume, location and time.

ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES FOR THE HIGHEST QUALITY

Processing of tires at the factory takes place in an automated way, and as a result high quality raw materials are obtained by using the latest technologies. Granulation of the material takes place during the first stages of processing. Metal and textile parts of the tires are separated by using the granulator, magnetic metal separator and vibration installed in the equipment. With each following stage, complete separation of unnecessary fibres from the end raw material takes place. At the completion of the processing, the granulated volume is technologically sorted into fractions. By using vibration devices and air flow, heavy granules are separated from the light ones, and granules are sorted according to size: 0.8 – 2.5 mm and 2.5 – 4 mm; as a result they become a high-quality recycled material for production of new rubber items.

USE OF RECYCLED RUBBER MATERIALS FROM TIRES

Recycled rubber tires are already used for production of various rubber products, such as rubber tiles used for development of children’s playgrounds or gyms. According to quality, recycled tires are also used in road construction and serve as a high-quality materials that can replace various first-time materials.

Products processed by SIA “Eco Baltia vide” is currently sold in Latvia, and cooperation is being established with manufacturers in Belarus, Estonia and Sweden. In near future, export to Finland, Russia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Bulgaria, etc. is planned as well. One of the major advantages of the company is its strategically successful territorial location with a high potential to sell the products in export markets across the world.
